Monarch is a wood-fired, modern Italian restaurant located on the 49th floor of The National in downtown Dallas. Led by Two-Michelin Star Chef Danny Grant, the restaurant is known for its luxury dining experience, extensive wine list, and panoramic views of the city skyline.

Planning Your Visit

1. Reservations: Highly recommended and often required. To guarantee a window booth with city views, there is typically a $125 per person food and beverage minimum. Reservations can be made on the Monarch website.
2. Dress Code: Strictly enforced Business Casual or "chic attire".
3. Permitted: Collared shirts, sports coats, and solid-color jeans without tears.
4. Prohibited: Sportswear, beachwear, gym shoes, T-shirts, hoodies, baseball hats, and sandals. Open-toed shoes are not permitted for gentlemen.
5. Happy Hour: Available Sunday through Friday from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM, featuring discounted drinks and light bites like $2 oysters and seafood towers.
6. Parking: Valet parking is available through the Thompson Hotel for $10.
