About This Restaurant
You’ll hear it before you taste it: the crackle of the hearth, the room coming to life, the clink of glasses raised in good company. Meridian cooks with live fire and a modern sensibility, creating food that’s craveable, comforting, and meant to be shared.
Rooted in modern American cuisine and inspired by global traditions, every detail, from the inviting dining room to the lively bar, is designed to make you feel at home.
Meridian is a high-end restaurant located in The Village complex in Northeast Dallas. Under the leadership of Executive Chef Eduardo Osorio, it recently transitioned from its original modern Brazilian roots to a more relaxed "Modern American" concept focused on live-fire cooking.
Dining Experience & Menu
The restaurant emphasizes hearth-fired dishes inspired by Italian and Mediterranean traditions.
- Signature Dishes: Popular items include the Foie & Sea Island Cornbread (topped with caviar), Wagyu tallow-seared oysters, and the Buzzed & Aged Burger.
- Pastas & Steaks: The menu features house-made pastas like lamb bolognese and premium cuts of meat, including Texas Wagyu and dry-aged ribeye.
- Sunday Supper: A notable 2026 offering is the $99 "Sunday Supper" for groups of 3–4, which includes fried chicken, sides, and dessert, with 20% of proceeds supporting multiple sclerosis research.
- Bar & Cocktails: The bar serves innovative cocktails such as the "Practical Magik" (lavender-infused gin) and truffle-infused espresso martinis.
Atmosphere
The space was renovated in late 2025 to create a "moody" and intimate environment suitable for date nights or special occasions. It features an open kitchen where diners can watch live-fire cooking, an expanded bar for casual drop-ins, and a new private dining room called The Ember Room.

Honestly, this duck breast was excellent. Perfectly cooked, juicy inside with that crisp skin. The roasted cabbage keeps it grounded, the almond sauce is smooth and nutty, and the spiced figs add a sweet, cozy bite that works surprisingly well.
